When the Harrisons of Dublin approached us with a vision for a guardian to preside over their private library, they sought an emblem of ancestral lineage and intellectual vigour. Captivated by the eagle-lion’s heraldic sentinel role, they commissioned a piece from our Bespoke Statues collection, hand-carved in pristine white Carrara marble. Thus, the Harrison eagle-lion took shape, joining our Marble Animal Statues line as a Hand-Carved Wildlife guardian and lasting heirloom.
Stunning White Marble Eagle-Lion Guardian Statues
Our master artisans translated the brief into a Commissioned Figural Marble Statuary project. Through the same patron-directed portal offered to every client, the family selected a “Distressed Legacy” base, Celtic knot pedestal carvings and a palace-smooth polish, options clearly listed under “Your Design, Stone’s Legacy”. We then engraved their crest in 2 mm relief around the plinth, adding a personal touch to the Premium Stone Carvings tradition. Despite its domestic setting, the creature carries the visual authority of Monumental Stone Sculptures, anchoring leather-bound volumes without overpowering them.
For the Harrisons, the eagle-lion is more than decoration; it is Hand-Carved Wildlife that holds their narrative. Completed within three weeks of commission, the piece now stands among leather-bound first editions, a silent custodian of stories past and those still to be written.
